I have 8GB of ram but only 6 available? PLEASE HELP!

I have 8GB of ram but I only have 6.39 available, so far I have searched online EVERYWHERE and found no help, so I came here!

Perfectly normal. Being used by the system and other programs that use cached RAM memory. Mine at present:

All you can do is add more memory if you want more. There is always overhead being used, unless you want to run in Safe Mode. The RAM is also there for system use, not just for games.

If you are running games without a dedicated GPU, only integrated graphics, then you can't expect miracles anyway.

What if I go to msconfig > Boot > Advanced options and uncheck maximum memory? would it work then?

I leave mine unchecked, you can try it, may gain a bit. But again, are you only running with the integrated graphics of the i-5? If so, not much of a gaming machine anyway. Sorry, just a fact.

I have a dedicated GT 730m also in my laptop and it can't handle newer demanding games on high or even medium settings in some cases.

You haven't filled out any system specs. Is it a laptop or desktop?

Ok, I see it is a laptop. You can not add a video card to it.

You can not add a video card to it. It either comes with one or it doesn't. Mine came with a dedicated GPU besides the integrated.

I can add more ram for a better more powerful pc but if I get x2 8gb sticks will my pc expload xD

You need to go to the Dell site to see if it even supports more RAM. Still won't help gaming much.
