how to set default email account ..mail app

I can't seem to get the metro email app to remember the account that I want to send email from on default. I have a Gmail account and two Exchange accounts. Seems like any time another app or web site wants to send an email there is no logic as to what account it sends from.

How to set default email account?

Do you want to set your Outlook as default email client?

For Outlook 2010:

1. Open MS Outlook
2. Click on File tab > Options tab on the Menu
3. Click on General tab
4. Under Start up options, click on the "Make Outlook the default program for Email, Contacts, and Calendar" check box to select it
5. Click on OK

For Outlook 2007:

1. Open MS Outlook
2. On the Tools menu, click on Options
3. Click on Other tab and click on the "Make Outlook the default program for Email, Contacts, and Calendar" check box to select it
4. Click on OK
