You might see if running a sfc /scannow command may help if the custom skin modified a system file that added this.

I'd say the custom skin you have has modified a system file, and added it's status bar version to it.

- You could try this command from command prompt(Admin)
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth- If 1 does not work, Do you have any restore point created prior to changing the theme ?
OK, I think I know where it comes from: I also have Classic Shell installed although I only use the Classic Explorer.
You recognise this? Look down on the lower left:

And then you can choose the Status from either Explorer, or Classic shell, or neither if that is what you want.
