The WDDM driver provided by Microsoft through Windows Update does not support OpenGL - it is more like the Basic display adapter. The driver that I have posted supports OpenGL 2.1 so you will be able to play some games. Just hide the WDDM driver in Windows Update as it will override the older version.

This is the latest version for Windows 7 but modified to work on Windows 8. That's why you have to disable integrity checks in order to install it and when you disable it the watermark will appear again.

No I didn't because the of the annoying Watermark at the bottom and I have tried it on Windows 7 and I didn't find any improvements over the old version I have provided you. Yes you have probably installed that one and that's why the Watermark appeared
