Solved Having to start computer twice for a successful boot

Windows 8.1~
If I start the computer from a full shut down state the Windows logo will appear but it will not go anywhere, and will stick at that screen. This forces me to shut the comp down and then start up again which makes it then boot normally...
Why do I have to start the computer twice for a successful boot? I don't know. But I know it is an OS-related issue.
Also for some reason the Windows 8 boot logo is stretched for some reason.
Any ideas to fix these issues?
I did find this in regards to the 2nd issue:
windows 8 installing in uefi mode. boot logo stretched even after - Microsoft Community

Fixed it by enabling Fast Boot in BIOS and disabling Launch CSM.
Now I have a really quick startup too
Thanks Brink.
