Update: Bad news for those hoping for a leak

Rough translation:

In other words, they don't plan on leaking any of the milestone builds. So we can expect a leak near the official release of beta 1 from Micosoft. M3 is supposed to begin in March, so a leak will probably happen closer to May now.

Also of note is that Microsoft is planning on releasing two betas before a RC.

The more the merrier....lol....but two beta builds are still worth it in my opinion.

Update:
Canouna (same one from this forum, and a well connected source to the individuals who are responsible for leaks) has stated that coding for M3 of Windows 8 will commence on February 28th. While it is a few days sooner than "Early March" every day counts for those of us waiting for a leak. The latest news on a scheduled leak is "around the time of the first public beta".

A reminder for everyone that we are currently in M2. M3 comes next and then after that is completed is the public beta.
