A good, cool morning here. I guess fall may have arrived, or hopefully to cool things down a bit. Sat morn it was 73 deg @ 7AM & humid as heck, Fast forward to @ 7AM this morn.....it was 48 deg.

Big storm with high winds and tornado alerts is supposed to arrive here in Michigan tomorrow. After the recent floods and damage over the past three weeks, we really don't need this!!

Nice cool morning with clouds, birds singing, 5 deer are walking past the hill next to our house, the Woodchuck just came out for a morning walk & it looks like a good day....at least until I have to leave the house....

It's finally cooler here, I started back walking again, after the hot summer, I was slower, will get that back up soon. ...
1.60 miles were took 23 minutes, ( normally that 12 to 15 minutes per mile for me )
Was really gorgeous yesterday,so glad to have the temps back down.

Good morning. It's cool during the nights, up in the 70's during the day (if we're lucky). Last week it struggled to get up into the 70's, on Sat & Sun we needed the AC (High 80's & Humid), Mon the high was 67 & we're headed for another warm streak on the weekend (so they say).

Kind of typical fall weather here, cool nights, tolerable days, the occasional day gets into the 80's. Some of the leaves are starting to change.

Good morning, this is for those who love camping out, I like the idea, just not for me, since snakes scare the life out of me,
to me they are ALL KILLERS of the worst kind. Otherwise I love getting out in the country and spending time roaming around,
to see what's out there, I enjoy a great hike, up some of our park trails, smaller mountains.

This weekend the "high" is supposed to be in the 50's, so it's time to go down to the basement (which is referred to as "The Kingdom of the Spiders"), clean off the furnace & try to get the damn pilot light to go on. The week has been nice though, upstairs windows have been open for a few days now, 70's during the day, 50's at night.

I didn't intend for the basement to be dominated by spiders. I was supposed to dig a tunnel back into the hill so I would have a place to raise my unholy army of mutated rats. I guess I got lazy .

Yesterday was a hard day, I lost a very dear friend, from our old MSN Chat days, met she and her husband this past
Spring in Branson, MO...part of our groups annual " Get Together ", my first year to attend. I knew most, when I saw them,
from our long time friendships upon sight, a lot of laughing and telling wonderful stories , she looked the picture of health then,
shortly afterward , during a check up, cancer was found again, she was such a brave trooper during the 2 1/2 years, in and
out of remission.
Pray for a CANCER Cure... the world needs it.

Sorry to hear of the loss of a friend Lady. Yes, the world desperately needs a cure for cancer.

The cooler temps are starting to make the leaves change, a bit faster in the higher elevations, I drove up to one of the mountains & took a pic. (Short drive since we are in the mountains).
