Freezing, Black Screens, and BSODs

I have a GT 630 around, though that's not really comparable to the 290X. I can give it a go regardless if you'd like?

Just try it. But make sure you wipe out the drivers with Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling - Windows 7 Help Forums

Ok. I've tried some more things including using the GT 630.

While the 290X will black screen in Unigine Valley within about 10 minutes, the GT 630 ran it happily for 4 hours, albeit at much lower settings.

I certainly looks like an issue with the 290X, so I've sent an email to VTX3D's support. Let's see what they say.

I'm having a friend try my 290X in his system, while I try his GTX 970.

The 970 runs perfectly fine, so it looks like it could be an issue with the 290X. I'll have to wait until I hear back from my friend.
