ok, thanks, never had this problem before where i have to mannually update drivers since 8 came along.....

Have a look here, assuming you have automatic updates enabled in windows update - type "change device installation settings" in search then click, then select: "Yes do this automatically (recommended)" and "Always install the best driver software from Windows Update". Also if you have a Microsoft Product you can enable updates for the product in settings on the windows update page - type windows update in search and click, then find "Settings" on the left side of the page and click now you can select your windows update settings as well.

"change device installation settings" - put that in search and my pc said nothing is there under this heading....

That is the correct name to the letter, and should come up - hold down "windows logo" key and press "s key" on the keyboard, leave the area for search as "everywhere" or change to it.

"change device installation settings" gets me a "no results found for your search".
Right click the Start button and select System. Then select Advanced system settings on the left. Now go to the Hardware Tab and click "Device Installation Settings".
I installed the 337.88 WHQL drivers yesterday. When GeForce Experience launched and tried to update it "Could not connect to NVidia" try again latter. After three of those error messages I just uninstalled it.

You know ding dong that ain't such a bad idea, but you would want the 337.88 WHQL driver rather then the Beta driver - good luck!

If you select the Custom install you can pick and chose what you want and don't want. For instance I never install the 3D Vision or the GeForce Experience.
