Good evening all,
I'll try to keep this brief.
Scenario:
2 AMD FX series cpus. Both installed with usb boot media (windows 8.1 Pro).
Both have 1tb Western digital drives. One is a brand new drive 1mo or less in age the other at least a few years old.
I did not image one system to the other, installed from a fresh usb drive recently purchased.
I have corruptions when running sfc /scan now.
On the older computer i had to totally re-install and today the boot looping issues occured again. Computer powers up boot cycles until it says startup has failed and i must recover the system.
This is not a major deal as i did a restore, but its getting old FAST. the other system is also running sluggish. small tasks like managing the file folder system or opening web browsing sessions seem to cause freezing.
Older cpu fx-8120 8gb ddr3 1600 new system specs fx-8320 8gb ddr3 1866.
These by no means are slow crap machines. Both seem to run like crap, boot speeds i'd assume should be much faster. i load a decent amount of software but a 5min boot time is a bit ridiculous for such a machine.
Please let me know if i can provide any further information.
