Yes, I prefer the pop-out Menu choices and customizable tight GUI of Start Menu 7.
I also found this way How to Boot to the Desktop in Windows 8 & Skip the Start Screen | 7 Tutorials which doesn't work as fast as advertised, seemingly as fast using the Scheduler as if it were in the Startup folder.
Now for gadgets.
(I hope this isn't heresy here, but I'm wondering why I have to patch together with 3rd party apps to get it close to get a perfect OS like WIn7:huh:)
