Do I really need KB2976978 and KB3068708

From what I've read I don't really need these two, unless someone can explain why I do.

These are optional updates not recommended or important meaning not going to effect your system without them. Least read about them, can always do this right in windows update by highlighting them and to the right select blue link more information.

I did read them but didn't really know what it all meant, so thought it was best to ask

If participate in Windows experience program one is update to it other dealing with diagnostic tracking services. Sure won't hurt your system with or without them, but are optional. Some here understand means more of certain updates that are optional. Lately some are in preparation for Windows 10.
