That will not work. If you want to create a new simple extended partition, you must only have a maximum of 3 primary partitions. So the win8 partition has to go, the win7 partition can be converted into a logical partition and then you have to reconvert the remaining dynamics into primaries.Delete the existing Win 8 partition and create a new Basic one

The only free program I know that can do that is Partition Wizard bootable CD version 4.2 - the later free releases do not deal with dynamics, you would need the pro version.
Does it support multi partition disks?

but then you get the same problem as with Raid0 right?
When 1 drive failes, bye bye Logical disk.
Then i still prefer to buy a 2 or 3 gb drive and not use Dynamic discs.
My feeling is that one day you will regret this.
