Yes, you're right the glitter looks faded in my version, sorry. That's because the scaling applies some smoothness to all the image and not just the edges... but it's not working in the favor of the glitter.

I'll give it another shot.
The thing is to merge the layers selectively: to use the one from Bill, which has the greatest glitter, and add the smoothing at the edges:

The background is now transparent, no problem. Just keep in mind that even the original, although transparent, has a white edge that will be visible on dark backgrounds, so I presume white background was used in the making process.

As in having a pic as a sig? Everyone as far as I know, I have had one since day one. Go up top, user cp, check your options, left side, edit sig. Spec max 650 x 150
