Computer Constantly Crashing

Just yesterday, I had received my graphics card back from ASUS. The card works now, but with a few issues. Firstly, my system crashes at random. It appears to not crash whilst I am playing a game, but it does crash whenever I have the computer idling.

System crash image is found here: http://i.imgur.com/AgYIUq5.png

Another form of crash is a BSOD for the error message stated as, "DRIVERS_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

The video card is an AMD R9 290. I have downloaded the latest drivers using the amd auto detector.

Any help to fix the crashing would be appreciated.

System has crashed 10+ times each at me just logging in. This has occurred within the past 20 minutes. I am getting frustrated.

Very rarely am I able to load in and play a game. The system crashes almost instantly after I open a game, load up chrome. Even then, crashing will occur a few minutes after loading into my desktop.

Last time I needed help, there was help. Now there is none. I'm getting a bit pissed off.

Only help I can offer is more of a comment. With a custom built it could be any of the individual components, PSU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, CPU. Could have got a lemon with any of them. Going to have to eliminate each item one by one.

Removed the GPU and saw only BSODs whenever windows loaded in.

SYSTEM_THREAD_NOT_EXPECTED or something like that

Should be posted in this area of forum, http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/

Believe should try other steps before performing a BIOS update, as said maybe because sometimes they pose more of a risk.
Can check Gigabytes site just to see what the BIOS updates show, also for fixes to the previous ones.

Sure your last BSOD was this after card was removed How To Fix ?
And not this SYSTEM_THREAD_NOT_EXPECTED
Sure uninstalled graphics drivers from AMD Radeon Card after you removed it ?

I am very much unable to do much with my computer. It took me an hour to update the drivers for the video card. There are times where the monitor goes black while the system still runs. Not sure what the hell is even going on here.

Not trying to put you on the spot but how much experience do you have with computers? Want to figure out your level of knowledge before I reply again. Please don't take the question wrong and no offense meant.

And your specs say "Custom Built" for Manufacturer. Custom built by who? Maybe you need to contact them, unless it means you of course.

My knowledge stops past the point of knowing how to put the computer together.

I was the one who put it together.

Thanks for the honesty.

Put the card in. Boot and then uninstall the card in Device Manager. Shut down and remove card. Turn on and go to BIOS settings. Make sure graphics is set to on board, save exit and reboot. Hopefully will reboot with on board graphics. This is a starting point.

Uninstalled video card and pulled it out. BSOD occurred when windows loaded.
