Change windows 8 border color

So my problem is after using the registry tweak to change the color of my taskbar to the one wanted, the border color becomes pure solid white which I don't like, is there anyway to customise this too? I would like to make the borders full transparent.

And about wallpapers, will putting an animated .gif gives me an animated wallpaper?

For transparent borders try the beta of Aero Glass for Win8.1 RTM RC2 - Windows 8 - MSFN Forum I have not try it but others have.

I checked the link and it says it is for 8.1 and it says "The prototype is not intended for daily use"

​So I think I'll be waiting for better alternatives.

I'm sorry I didn't see you are using Windows 8 and not 8.1.
