I have been having this issue for awhile, I can't search or go to websites with certain words in the name. This occurs on all browsers and search engines. I have looked over all safety settings. Words along the lines of "sex, gun, porn, murder, assault, ect" are blocked. I get a "Cannot display this webpage" kind of error. Something interesting is I can search for the word "guns" but not the word "gun". Weird. Please help!

Oh, and I might add, I can search whatever I want on the Ubuntu installation I have on my computer, along with my other devices.

sorry I must have some how mixed you post with another that said they were using pirated windows ,

I think if you are using IE11 you can go to security and make some changes or you have other software install that is causing ,or some parental controls setting set somewhere

Yes, problem is this problem occurs with all browsers. I am on Windows 8. Could there be backdoor software installed? Some sort of virus? I have run several full scans with Windows Defender and MalwareBytes, and am the only user (administrator).

Okay, so I changed my MAC address with TMAC, and now when I search one of these types of keywords, say guns, it gives me a blank page that says "Click here if you are not redirected". I click it and it brings me to the results. Weird. Ideas?

Alright, I changed my MAC address and changed some security settings. I can now search whatever I want. But what was blocking my MAC address?
