New install of 8.1 in April on a new computer build. Around June7 noticed I was losing my usb ports. Went to Restore and only found one. Performed restore. Fixed the usb. Then I tried to do another restore, couldn't. Tried and tried but couldn't create a restore. Then tried to install software for my dlink cameras. Couldn't install. Installer box stayed at zero forever until I tried to cancel in taskmanager... I couldn't then and had to shut down computer. After many attempts to install new programs I made a mistake and did a system refresh. Well, of course that wiped out all my programs. Looks like the refresh worked for cleaning off all the programs (even Microsoft office). Now I am starting over. Something is wrong here. After fresh refresh, I was able to do create a restore point and install some programs. Installed a couple small programs... then today I noticed the same problem when I tried to install Foxit, and Nero. Looks like I'm back to the installer install shield box stalling and then me trying again to install again with no luck. Its not working. What can I do? Does 8.1 need to repaired somehow. I can't go on trying to install some programs and not others... and realize its still broke. I lost 3 months of building this computer and it looks like its still screwed up. I didn't put everything I wanted on this system. Spring came and I went outside. I spent alot of money on these components (over 5k) !! I'm almost ready to call Microsoft and get some answers.
Heres my BUILD. PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ??

As I'm asking for help here I see that My Nero Install (HOur and a half later) Stalled at around 75% and I get a "Installer is no longer responding" RETRY or cancel. So I'm going to RETRY again. HOPE this works... But its iffy in the future with some programs. I just need to fix this !!!!

- This is a first build for me. My last computer was a Dell Dimension 8200 from 2000. I have had no problems with this new build. Started up from day one. I'm sort of proud of myself for this.
I am Looking for a nice 28+ inch 4k Monitor. Any suggestions?
