Solved Cannot see USB device on router

I have a Nighthawk R700P router (AC2300) which has a 3.0 USB slot in the front & a 2.0 USB slot in the rear. A thumb drive in either slot gets recognized by the router itself but I cannot find it / connect using File Explorer. The same thumb drive in one of the PC's USB slots is recognized just fine. Suggestions?

Problem solved: entering \\readyshare in path name gives access to USB device & allows mapping to a drive letter.
