I am new to Windows 8. I emailed myself a .jpg photo as an email attachment (in yahoo email), from a different computer. When I try to save the attached photo to my own computer, the options are to save as "webpage complete" or as "HTML." I don't want to do either of those. I want to save it as a .jpg-format image in a folder of my choice on my computer.
Also, when I click on the attached photo, it opens in some unnamed Windows 8 imaging app that takes up the whole screen. I don't know what I am supposed to do with it (there are no explanations or options, or even any text that tells what the app is called or what it is supposed to be doing), and I can't get rid of it unless I press the keyboard key with the picture of a window on it, and then get back into my browser (Chrome). If I knew the name of this intrusive imaging app, maybe I could uninstall it, or at least reconfigure Windows 8 to make it save images in the format I want them in and in the folder where I want it to save them, so I can manipulate them the way I want to (in my case, with Paint Shop Pro)
Any advice?
