BSOD_kernel memory dump crash after computer sleeps/standb

Hi Bennie ^_^,

It seems like you forgot turning off the Driver Verifier. The dump files did not catch any particular driver. Follow the below steps to disable DV -

  1. Open up a Command Prompt with Admin Privileges.
  2. Type in "verifier /reset" (Without Quotes).
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Reboot your system.

See if you are still getting crashes or not. Below is a list of 3rd party drivers present on your system. Kindly update the highlighted ones -

NO BSOD's but issue with drivers

Since i turned off the verifier i haven't had any BSOD's which is strange since we haven't actually changed/fixed anything ? Or did i forget something?

Out of those 5 drivers highlighted:
-Intell Smart Connect installed correctly.
-2 are for Logitech camera (both are the same thing im assuming) - i installed it but i installed for Windows 8.0 there is no Windows 8.1 option.
-2 are for Netgear which would be my wireless dongle (both are the same thing im assuming again)
this driver does not install, it keeps asking for me to plug in the dongle ( which is plugged in). (see attached image) (I am using this dongle and have been for a while to connect to the internet.)

When can i reinstall my Kaspersky antivirus ?

Thanks again for all the help

Bennie

Hey Bennie ^_^,

Unfortunately, I cannot tell whether you forgot something or not that fixed the problem (At least temporarily).

Once you think that the system is stable and is not causing any BSODs, feel free to re-install the Kaspersky. Also, regarding Netgear, I am afraid that I cannot provide help regarding that part :(
Why don't you put a thread over here regarding the Netgear issue?

Hi, Sadly my PC has just started giving me: "Kernal Security Check" and "Bad_Pool_Header" BSOD's again. Im totally clueless to why this has started again. I am hoping i could get some assistance again on how to remedy the pain that is BSOD's. Where do i start over?

Thanks in advance

Hi Bennie ^_^,

Could you please turn on Driver Verifier according to the below guide -
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable - Windows 7 Help Forums

Once you have turned on the Driver Verifier, let it crash the system for a few times and then re-run the Diagnostic Utility and then upload the ZIP File with your next post.

Hi Blueelvis

I turned on driver verifier and restarted but i couldnt get into windows, it just sat on the windows load screen forever.
I had to enter safemode to turn it off.
This seems like a memory problem? I say this because all my BSOD's are on startup. I push pc power button and either on startup or a minute after i enter windows i get the BSOD.

Thanks again

Hi Bennie ^_^,

Hmm that is strange. Boot level problems are generally associated with Hardware Problems. Kindly follow the below Free Hardware Diagnostics and post back the results -
Hardware Diagnostics

Start with Memtest first.

Let me know how it goes ^_^
