BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, problem with network adapter

Hi! My friend accidentally deleted their Wireless Network Adapter. It was a Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter and their laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C50.


In device manager, under Network adapters, it currently has bluetooth drivers and a Qualcomm Atheros Ethernet Controller. In other devices, Network Controller is appearing with a warning sign.


When I plug in an ethernet cable the wireless adapter appears to come back, listed under Network Adapters. As soon as this happens, the laptop gets a BSOD error, with the message IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.


I seem to be going round in circles, and not sure what to do now.

Probably caused by :wsimdx.sys ( wsimdx+9324 ) 
BugCheck A, {0, 2, 0, fffff8033ff20cbb}

In every debug file I am seeing these lines. HAve ya'll tried to update his/her drivers? http://www.atheros.cz/

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes trying to update the network adapter drivers and everytime I do the laptop crashes again with the above error.

Did you try uninstalling the drivers through Device Manager for the Ethernet Adapter?

and then follow this guide below to install the drivers manually -

Are you getting the same error message on the Blue Screen or is it different every time?
