BSOD hal.dll+2d965 ASUS NOTEBOOK

Your CPU is seriously overheating (it shouldn't get over 60ºC).
Stop the testing until you've solved the cooling problem on your CPU.
This is the most likely cause of your problems.

For details on fixing your cooling, please post over in the hardware forums: Drivers & Hardware - Windows 8 Forums

Did you ever get the overheating problem fixed? If not, then any analysis is doomed to failure until it has been fixed.

USB Modem drivers are outdated (2008). You must update these to the latest, Win8 compatible drivers.

WinRing0x64.sys is known to be associated with BSOD causing programs and this version dates from 2008 (remove the program that it's associated with - many different programs that center around the using of the WinRing libraries (RealTemp, Corsair Link2 (known BSOD issues w/Win8), Razer GameBooster, etc))

cnnctfy3.sys is a known BSOD cause (remove Connectify) - I have only seen one instance of this, but it's good to remove it to verify. Feel free to reinstall it once the system has stabilized.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
