BSOD after clean Windows 8.1 install

CMUSBDAC.sys should not be there. Delete it, then delete its key in regedit at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services

Reboot.

It's not a good idea to have AVG installed while working on getting proper drivers installed and dealing with bsods too.

Both are done, which now my USB mic is no longer being picked up.
What now?

Test the machine for many days for stability and to ensure the cause has been isolated.

Will do, and if this whole time it's been my USB Mic giving me problems then that will be amazing.

I would like to thank you for all your help MasterChief. But I found out that my Ram was the cause of the BSOD. After I did everything you told me to I also removed my ram. And sure enough no BSOD for a few days. So I slowly kept re installing things that you had me remove. And still no BSOD. I'm back to everything I originally had installed for a week now and still no BSOD. The only thing I have yet to re install would be some of my Ram but that's because I sent it out to be RMA. Thanks again.

You're welcome. Glad it is all good. Yup, uninstalling those thing was to get to the RAM - if we needed to look at it then. But good on you for figuring that out. Enjoy.
