Hello, first post so I hope I have everything in order. I used the SF diagnostic tool and will be uploading the zip file. Laptop computer is about 2 months old and running fantastically but sometimes while doing some reading for class, the Blue screen appears and says SYSTEM_THREAT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED followed by atikmdag.sys as the error message. I would blame the problem on having too many tabs open or having a lot of programs open but even when at 2 tabs and no additional programs running, it crashed. I'm relatively new to the nitty gritty of computers so any help would be appreciated. Must I provide any additional information?
Thanks in advance.

Hi elksooz & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

I am extremely sorry for the late response. There are not enough analysts. Do you still need help with your problem? If you still need help with this, kindly reply back to this topic and I would reply within 48 hours and will be notified by email.

So, the ATI Graphics driver is causing the problem here like popeye has mentioned. Kindly remove the currently installed ATI driver using Display Driver Uninstaller from **THIS** link and then install the latest ATI driver from this **LINK**.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Thank you and Popeye so much! I uninstalled the driver in safe mode but now I don't know which driver to install. I'm given 4 of them and two are updated on the same day, this is what I get:
AMD Display DriverPosted Date: 2014-05-19 | Version: 13.352.1004.1007-140422a-171194C-Toshiba | Size: 251.99M
AMD Display DriverPosted Date: 2014-05-19 | Version: 13.352.1004.1007-140422a-171196C-Toshiba | Size: 334.83M
AMD Display DriverPosted Date: 2014-04-24 | Version: 13.302.1501-140320a-169666C-Toshiba | Size: 249.14M
AMD Display DriverPosted Date: 2014-03-27 | Version: 13.251.3.4-140225a-168466C-Toshiba | Size: 295.33M

I'm also basing this on the assumption that THIS is the correct driver I need. Thanks.
