Try Bandicam. It's just been updated again and it's even better than before. Fraps hasn't been updated for over a year and not ever for Windows 8.

I actually used to have Bandicam but I uninstalled it because it was crap, but with the new update it's working a lot better now.

Does anybody know if Movavi Suite is good for screen recording? I know it's a really fun and easy movie maker that is far superior to Apple iMovie which is far superior to Windows Movie Maker.
