Becoming disenchanted with Win 8

Frank. I've explained 3 times why this happens. Why do you keep ignoring me?

Your folder does not rename. Only it's display name changes. If you open up a command prompt, go to the drive and view the directory, you will see it's still named Oct. 30.

Delete the desktop.ini file from inside the folder. You will see it now goes back to it's "real" name.
I'm really not ignoring you--really I'm not. I was just answering the other guys questions. I mentioned that I was going to check it out.

Mystere--Thank you for your information. You are correct--I deleted the desktop.ini and the folder then changed to what I named it. Again, I was not ignoring you as I appreciate all the feedback. I was just having a hard time understanding it. But I did double check and I did have it set to show hidden files.
