AOL 'mail-notification' sound suddenly gone !

have AOL free mail program - suddenly,( tho properly 'set/saved' )the 'new mail' notification sound has stopped. Even in ''preview' it won't play... i did nothing to stop that. I do have Win. mail notification 'set' for a sound -would that setting over-ride AOL's ?

ok -it's edythe: solved my own problem ... i had disable Adobe Flash Player ''plug-in' to stop annoying ads at websites - apparently that also controlled the AOL 'mail notification sound'' .. problem solved.
