I've only got the tabs Pinned and Presets on my AMD Catalyst Control Center. I've done some looking around and I'm sure that I should have more options, more tabs, be able to optimize graphics and stuff for games.

I think that's all the information I have. If you need more information to solve this, no problem.

Your specs don't say what AMD video chipset you have -- and that can be all the difference!

I originally had an onboard AMD HD 4290 chipset which worked great in Win7.

When I upgraded to Win8, I discovered that the AMD drivers would not install properly. There were no errors displayed during the install, but when I opened AMD CCC, I saw the same limited info as you.

Then, I read through the forum and discovered a way to PROPERLY install the AMD drivers by choosing the .INF file -- instead of just running the installer. After that, I got an AMD CCC display that contained the same kind of stuff as I saw in Win7.

The problem, I believe, affects the AMD HD 2x/3x/4x-series chipsets.

If you have something newer, then this is most likely NOT the problem.

If you have something older, you may be stuck with the limited display as AMD has not updated their older drivers for Win8.

I'm running Win 8.1 and i use an AMD Radeon HD 7570

Which drivers and where did you get them from ?. It's not that old card, 14.xx drivers should work.

Not sure which drivers, I was going to post another thread because I wasn't sure if i correctly installed new drivers. I tried installing the new 14.6 Beta drivers for my HD 7570, but I don't know if it worked. Probably didn't because I got an error message for downloading one of the packages. I tried getting the Catalyst 14.6 Drivers from guru3d.com and then i went to the AMD site because I wasn't sure those worked. Then on the AMD site i found 14.6 Beta drivers, but I wasn't sure those worked either. I'm kinda exploring how to work computers.

14.4 proved to be most reliable drivers for that range of GPUs, after that it's mostly support for R series.
Not sure if I installed 14.4 correctly wheen i tried at first. i did 14.4 at first then tried 14.6. Then we're here where we are now.

Well, without properly installed, clean drivers you can hardly expect everything to work properly. In cases like this, best thing is to completely uninstall drivers, clean up system and only than try to install new ones.

So it says that it will get rid of all the drivers. does the 14.6 drivers include drivers for all things? also are they compatible with all of my computer parts?

Drivers for AMD HD 2x/3x/4x-series chipsets for Win8, 8.1 are now labeled "Legacy" drivers, 5x series and up are "Normal issue" drivers. If you use those 14.4 drivers they will offer to uninstall older drivers first before installing new ones, it will reboot computer and continue installation after until it installs all. Will reinstall only the drivers it finds hardware for.
