Hi
Since they've removed the F8 option I'm at a loss how to fix this.
I upgradet my XP to Win8 Pro, worked great.
I installed my Java, Flash, F-secure, Firefox, Thunderbird, worked great.
I installed and played World of Tanks, never run better !
I decided to upgrade my Grapihcs driver (Nvidia 9600) ... FAIL
After rebooting my machine after the nvidia install, I get past the little Window screen (light blue one with the little animated circle underneath), then it starts to act up. I works hard on the harddrive, while "shutting off / turning on my monitir (not actually the power, but like when switching off into power safe mode) ever single second. While the monitor is "on" I can get the mouse arrow to show, then it switches off (into power save like state) and back on again. I've let do this for approx 1 hour (went to do dinner) in hopes it was configuring the darn thing. It wasn't.
I hope someone can guide me to a solution, I'm really at a loss how to fix this.
P.S. I got Win8 as the download upgrade option, so I have no CD to reinstall from - else I would have tried that first
