Like the title says, I accidentally switched my desktop to second screen display only and I don't own another monitor to plug in and fix this with. I've restarted the computer and tried using Windows key + P to switch it back but it doesn't seem to be working and I'm at a loss what to do. Any suggestions appreciated!

Try restarting the computer into Safe Mode. It may be that in Safe Mode your screen will come back to being screen 1.
