Hi there,
Another challenge for the experts ! Without going into too much detail, by moving hard disks around etc. I managed to screw up my 8.1 boot settings.
Partition-wise I should be ok as the 350mb "system" partition is still there, containing all necessary files.
System will however go straight for automatic repair and tell me it was not able to repair the problem.
bootrec /scanos returns 0. Bcd file seems fine when I take it through bcdedit. Renaming the bcd file and trying to rebuild one doesn't work either as it says there's no installation found.
I did not touch any partitions nor files btw, everything is still there and in tact as far as I know.
Thx in advance !
