Windows App Store Looping...

    Windows App Store Looping...


    A friend of mine seems to be having a problem with his Windows App Store. Evey time he launches the Windows App store it gives him a green background with the windows logo and it loads for ages, pretty much the loading screen is stuck in a loop. Any idea how this can be fixed? , I suggested he should do a sfc / scannow but that didn't work for him.

    Hello Rawad,

    You might see if having your friend go through the troubleshooting steps in the tutorial below may be able to fix it.

    Windows 8.1 Pro Metro Apps crash immediately at launch..


    A friend seems to be having an issues , all of the metro apps (the pre-installed ones that come with 8/8.1) crash back to the start menu whenever he opens them. Is there a solution to this issue?

    He tried running the Trouble Shooter App, and he failed , so I told him to do a sfc/scannow and that didn't do anything , what would you suggest Brink?

    What failed with it?

    Did he go through the other steps in the tutorial? The troubleshooter is just step 1.

    I'd still suggest what I originally posted to go through them one by one and testing after each one to see if it may have fixed the issue.
