tried changing Linksys setting didn't work. modem is working with other computer. afraid to mess that up

shows 2 that are 2.4 ghz 5ghz not there

I have dual band modem that work with a Linksys AE6000 USB network adapter. I get the 2.4 ghz but can not see the 5ghz. It works fine on my desktop with window 7. I also have another berklin that will only work on the desktop as well. Neither will see the 5 ghz on my Toshiba laptop Satellite...
