Yesterday I was watching a UTUBE video on full screen and exited to partial screen and the my computer screen went gray. I tried several things and finally hit "ESC" and it went back to the screen saver. So I signed in and everything was normal again. Can you figure out what happened this time...

My Dell laptop with Windows 8.1 goes to sleep by itself when I turn on the power. The only way to wake it up is to press and hold the "power" button down for about 10 seconds. I did a total scan and it indicated "no threats were detected" What do you think the problem is? This is intermittent...

Thank you for your reply. The favorites I wanted to get rid of are gone off the upper right of the screen but are still on the favorites list.

Should I right click on "show tabs on separate row" and then right click-delete?

There are several favorites that will not disappear from the favorites bar on the top left side of the screen. What can the problem be?

I'm starting to get a large Windows 10 pop up in the middle of my 8.1 laptop screen. In the past the pop up was small in the lower right hand corner. This pop up has progressed from annoying to very annoying. How do I get rid of it for good?

On my 8.1 laptop the PDF reader is not working for the past several weeks, it worked fine before. All I get after the download is a black screen. Any idea what is causing this? Thank you for your responses.

My "Windows 10 Home "upgrade is sitting in "Hidden Updates" until I decide if I want it or not. Never was one for being on "the leading edge".:)

Right click on "Windows 10 Home", then click "Hide".

Thank you very much for this solution. This solves the problem of being constantly bothered with trying to get rid of the "Windows 10 Home" upgrade....This gives me some time to decide whether I want it or not.:)

Apparently it's too late to correct my mistake. I now manually check for updates (not automatic). Click on other available updates. Check the important updates. Un-check Windows 10 Home. Click on install Looks like I'm stuck with this until July 29, 2016?
