Have you been waiting for a response?

Still waiting on some feedback. Not had a recurrence but I'd still really like to know what the cause was. Thanks! http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/66846-bsod-after-closing-gta-v-reference-pointer.html

BSOD after closing GTA V - REFERENCE BY POINTER

Yesterday I updated my computer via windows update. After updating, a few hours or so, I played some GTA, when I closed the game I received this error. I again opened the game to replicate the issue but it did not reoccur. Although that's unsurprising bsods rarely adhere to pattens. Just as a...

    Solved DPC Latency issues

Uninstalled avast, issue disappeared. Reinstalled with just the free version, nothing bad yet. Think some of the pro features might've screwed me over. Regardless, thank-you for your help!

Solved Uninstall a program dates missing

Seemingly out of nowhere this has occurred, date installed has disappeared and by that I mean the dates of installation have all vanished. Any idea on the cause?

    Audio/Visual Stuttering

Reset router. No settings for HD audio in AMDs control center, it shows up in sound and device manager but its not enabled as the active sound system. Updated network adapter (not sure if I had, done so much updating). Connected via ethernet. Oh and connected through HDMI yes.

    Audio/Visual Stuttering

Will do! I understand it's strange to see networks causing such issues. But the huge correlation between refreshing a page and instant audio crackling/glitches is too much to ignore, combined with the LatencyMon logs and the fact that disabling the network adapter gets rid of the issue. It's...

    Solved DPC Latency issues

Even though there's inconsistencies, the baseline it provides gives a more user friendly view than LatencyMon. Its easier to look past the inaccuracies it gives and just at the major spikes. In other words I'm only using it for monitoring of hard faults which I then compare time wise with...

    Solved DPC Latency issues

Hello, You mean use LatencyMon? I have been. Got a few snapshots of it in my first post to illustrate the problem. I know there's issues with the latency checker but the latency problems it highlights are still perfectly valid and correlate with LatencyMon.

    Solved DPC Latency issues

Recently been getting significant latency issues on my desktop after roughly a day/two of use (hibernating at night). This causes audio stuttering and static. Issue seems to be caused by ndis, and tcpip. Using DPC Latency monitor I noticed it would skyrocket to red whenever the internet got a...

    Audio/Visual Stuttering

I have tried that solution of the bcedit tick command, no difference unfortunately. Audio I think is just a symptom of the underlying issue, which seems to be network related so I think I might head over to one of the network sub-forums. Thank-you very much for your help though. Its lead me...

    Audio/Visual Stuttering

Well the reason I'm saying this is that the correlation seems fairly significant. For example: Each grouping of spikes there is a browser refresh which utilises internet. Now I'm not saying its the modem or router, at least I don't think so, but rather but drivers associated with internet...

    Audio/Visual Stuttering

Not sure about ruling out internet. Considering when it happens in MPC or itunes the browser, or some other internet related program, is also running and said issue is extremely pronounced when reloading a browser page.
