Did you install the correct driver for your wireless network adapter? There are updated drivers exclusively for windows 8.

Press windows key or go to start then click "Store" You should see app updates in upper right corner *if there's any regardless of the apps category

Maybe the connection in your office has the restriction to connect number of users. Try to talk to your network administrator to let you connect to that network.

I've installed MySQL Server v. 5.5.28 64-bit won't install, saying A DLL required this install could not be run. A screenshot below: Tried installing other versions, still came up with the same issue.
