Rather rare and random 0xc000021a BSODs

If so, then It could very much be possible. I'll revert back to windows 7 as a last resort, if need be. Later, I suppose. I need VMware for testing purposes. I'm not sure if I can uninstall it, for now. I don't know what to tell you. Sometimes the computer has problems going into sleep or...

Solved What is the rsdrvx64.sys driver?

I just remembered. I did install some file recovery software at some point but then uninstalled them. One of them must have left this driver.

Rather rare and random 0xc000021a BSODs

There is no new BIOS update for this motherboard. I don't know if it's a compatibility issue. I've been using W8.1 for a few months and these 0xc000021a BSODs are new to me. I removed the rsdrvx64.sys driver altogether. I found the SF Diagnostic Tool's result files. They were in partition D...

ESET and malwarebytes don't find anything. How can I uninstall a software driver?

Solved What is the rsdrvx64.sys driver?

I have this rsdrvx64.sys driver installed. It belongs to a program called RawDisk from Eldos, but I never installed such a thing. The program itself isn't installed; just the driver. Does anyone know what this driver does and where it came from? Is it possible that is was installed alongside...

Rather rare and random 0xc000021a BSODs

Once in a while I get a 0xc000021a BSOD, which seem to be happening right after boot. Here are the latest two. ---------------- Windows 8.1 enterprise, with all updates except September update KB2984006. P.S. The SF Diagnostic Tool doesn't work for me. It gives no results.

Solved How to disable metro apps from running at startup

Yes, it's a local account. There is also another account, but I don't use it and is disabled too. There is nothing in the tutorial about metro apps running at startup.

Solved How to disable metro apps from running at startup

The weird thing is that even if I close those apps by dragging to bottom-holding-release after flipping, they still come back after a few minutes.

Solved How to disable metro apps from running at startup

How to disable metro apps from running at startup? I use windows 8.1 and have enabled boot-to-desktop. Every time after booting into windows, when I check task manager, there are some metro apps already running in the background, like reading list, onenote and reader. Is there a way to stop...

Solved "Custom" option missing from "Search again in"

Well, that sucks. It was a pretty useful feature in windows 7. Option two, No. 3, "Tip" section: "Custom to search specific locations." Thank you. I thought it was a remnant of a user I deleted a while ago

Solved "Custom" option missing from "Search again in"

Anyone? Is it the same on your machines too, or just me?

Solved "Custom" option missing from "Search again in"

Even though the tutorial on this forum says there should be a custom option, I don't seem to have it. Any thoughts on how can I bring it back? P.S. Does anyone know what that "winrt--{***}-" folder is?
