finished the recovery... AMOEI don't work for the migration because they say my OS is on a GPT disk and i'd have to buy their professional version. should I go ahead and do that ?

I must have explained it wrong. if there's only the SSD in the laptop (hdd removed), the computer wont boot, just goes to BIOS. if both are in, the computer boot and the SSD 'works' .. as in, its there and I can use it, its just that it doesn't have windows 8.1 on it, even tho I cloned it
