    Good morning from Germany, I just updated my post #5 after reading post #26 that only the pro version does gpt, I didn't know that. Sorry. I used it with windows 7. Another trick with Windows 7 and MBR was to shrink the C: partition so it and the boot partition were about 7-10% smaller than the ssd, then make a backup and system imageŽusing windows backup, pop in your recovery disk, switch drives, boot to cd, recover from system image, easy and no problem. With windows 8.1 you can do it from command prompt(it's hidden for "normal users" now because of the refresh and reinstall options). Which kinda bites because you do have to jump thru hoops when you have a new disk.
