Purchased my HP TouchSmart 520 from HP with NVidia GeForce GT 520M graphic card. I am wondering if I would have any problems if I decide to install Windows 8 on this computer. For instance, if I download the latest graphic driver from NVidia, it does not recognize the card. HP support does not show this card for available updates, however, the NVidia Control Panel shows it checking for updates daily and that the latest update is installed. If Windows 8 is installed, would I still get updates to this card from HP? The reason I am checking now is that I am not familiar how vendor installed hardware is affected by going to a new OS. On my previous computer, I had changed just about all the hardware from the original equipment, so that when I went from XP to Windows 7, just had to get any necessary drivers from the manufacturer. Thank in advance for any input.
