Windows 8.1 updates installation order?

Hi,

Had windows 8.1 Pro for five years, worked fine. Never updated because from my experience it tends to make things worse if you didn't have any issues before. Started getting issues that I didn't know the cause of (graphics issues and errors), and I tried all the solutions I could find online but nothing worked, so last resort was to reinstall before buying new parts.

Used old usb stick with working windows 8.1 Pro, worked fine first time. Installation worked fine this time too. Issue started when I tried installing my AMD graphics drivers and vc redist 2015. Googled my error codes and tried the solutions, did not work until I gave in and installed some windows updates. Then vc redist worked, but AMD drivers still don't.
Windows updates was a mess too, with many people online having similar issues as me but no ideal solution.
Tried to reinstall updates in different orders by different recommendations (ofc I first tried to do it in the order MC recommended), did not work. Tried to install even more updates, both manually and through windows update on my PC. It just made things worse and eventually not even my restore point could undo the corruption that sfc says is there. (It wasn't corrupted from the start, but did not work much better before that happened)
Solutions online again did not help.

Throughout these two days of trying to get this to work I made sure to not make more changes than necessary, and used dism restorehealth and sfc frequently to make sure every step went ok.

So last resort now as I see it is to reinstall windows again and make absolutely sure that I install necessary updates in the right order.
From what I can tell so far, these are the most necessary updates:
KB2919355
KB2932046
KB2934018
KB2937592
KB2938439
KB2959977
KB3021910
KB3021910
KB5001403
KB2919442

The release dates are not good indicators of which order I should install them in
from what I can tell after reading about them. Any important ones I have missed, if anyone can somehow know?
Microsoft had instructions on what order to install the first six in, which seemed to work initially but where I was still unable to install my AMD drivers seemingly because of faulty windows updates (or lack of).
Updating from the control panel doesn't work. It gets stuck. I tried this in different ways too. I would've installed all updates right away if I could do it that way, but it seems I have to do it manually.

Thanks in advance

I figured it out. Here is what I did if anyone has the same issue in the future :

Did a second clean install, downloaded graphics drivers and the necessary Windows 8.1 updates manually.
Then I turned off the internet connection, installed the graphics drivers and restarted computer. Installed only the necessary Windows updates in the correct order which was like this:

KB2919442
clearcompressionflag
KB2919355
KB2932046
KB2959977
KB2937592
KB2938439
KB2934018
KB2999226

Restarted the computer after installing each update. It took a while for KB2919355 to start each time I installed it, for anyone who had as much issues with this as I had it might be good to keep in mind.

If your original Install was xx years ago, I'd not be using that same install again. I'd be installing a later version, possibly with all the updates that work.
It's not that hard. The last Windows 8.1 ISO that I downloaded came with all the latest and greatest updates and hardware driver pack. It installed
flawlessly on my PC and the only driver I had to install was for my newest Epson Printer.

So you may want to give up that old installer in favor of a newer one.
PM me if you need help.
