... otherwise it will not boot. Of course, I reconnect it again before starting it up.
I discovered this by trial and error, when my PC crashed and wouldn't work again (case fans wouldn't even spin), although the DVD writer would spin and the Hard Drive activity indicator would come on.
I thought either my Mobo or PSU was bad. I took it to a nearby shop, they tested my PSU and Mobo, found both were good and told me to pick up my working PC (and pay for an hour of labor).
My PC crashed again today twice, exactly as described above, but I have since discovered that disconnecting (and reconnecting) the DVI cable to my monitor from the back of my GPU, will allow it boot up normally.
Any help? - I would like to have an idea of what is going on and keep my PC from crashing in the first place.
