Hi Evryone,
I would like to share a simple that will work for a majority of people if their important files have been affected by virus and have been turned into application files or *.exe.
1.Right click the drive and check for errors with Windows.
2.If any errors were found then fix them.
3.Scan your usb with an Antivirus it is sure to be infected and the infected files should be
deleted from the antivirus options. Now if you open your drive it looks like theres nothing inside!
BUT WAIT WE AREN"T DONE
4.Next, Open control panel-> folder options
5.Make sure the options listed are unchecked
->Hide extensions for known file types
->Hide protected operating system files
and lastly check on "Show hidden files, folders and drives."
6.Now open your drive u'll find all your folders right in place ( but hidden )
along with the application copies ( if found ) of your folders.
7.Make sure to permanently delete all the application files ( if found ).
8.Now open Command Prompt as admin and type the following script:-
->attrib e:\*.* /d /s -h -r -s
note that "e" is the letter of your drive.
9.Now your ready to go!!!!!!!
Enjoy your clean USB
If it helped evryone please comment,
if there are any other probs plz post and we will see if we can fix them
