Being a newbie here and a novice with pc's I know very little...
Having read many threads and posts, I have come to the conclusion that the metro app page has some very mixed feelings, leaning towards a thumbs down.
Was only a couple months back when I was using XP sp3, then baffled with win7 with it's intransitive file handling and ease of use for a complete novice. win8 I feel has taken the bull by it's horns and created a faster, easier, smoother user friendly OS than previous versions, bar windows 3.11.
Take my WiFi used to take up to 2 mins for it to connect, now it's instant. Fact everything is instant. Security features appear better than non windows oem s/w.
