Yeah, if it really locks up hard you can get no beeps. Knowing when the new card was added and if it ever worked will help sort things out. It is sounding like a hardware issue.

Resetting the BIOS to defaults with the motherboard jumper might be a good thing to do to. Did the issue happen right after doing the factory reset?

The new graphics card worked until I did the factory reset. Here's how it went down: I went to windows 8 Recovery menu. Hit remove everything and reinstall windows. It was taking a long time to "prepare" so I went and took a nap. When I came back it had me confirm I wanted to remove everything or just programs or whatever. I did that and the screen said "Restarting". I figured it would work after that so I turned off the monitor and went to sleep as I knew it would take a while. I woke up and the computer was on but no display. So I restarted the monitor no display so I performed a hard reset but still no display. And what is the motherboard jumper

Ooh! I don't know what I did but the BIOS is starting now through hdmi. Now I'm getting the boot device error and I'm thinking if I set it to the hard drive it'll just break it again

My guess is you removed everything, which wiped your C drive

But there was no registered recovery image

Got setup media? Decent with command prompt?

Yes I am pretty decent with command prompt but I either don't have setup media or don't know what it is
