Try this: Power down > unplug power pack > remove battery > Press power button for 5 seconds. Now put the battery back in and plug in the power pack. Boot up and press the required key to enter the BIOS. This will force a cold start and remove fast startup from interfering. The missing boot to UEFI option means Windows 8 was not installed in UEFI mode and or your BIOS is not UEFI compatible. If you open disk management there likely isn't an EFI partition. On my ASUS Laptop ESC brings up the quick boot menu, and I do believe there is a "enter setup" option listed. I can't remember what key enters the BIOS F1 or F2 I think?

Does it boot into Windows? Why are you trying to access the BIOS? Don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds like you are pressing the wrong key to get access? Your using the laptops built in keyboard right?

EDIT: On my ASUS K75DE it's F2 to enter the BIOS Setup Menu.

I understand you. I am trying to acces the BIOS because i want install Windows 7,but I can't access BIOS. The laptop don't let to press F2 to enter BIOS setup menu. When I turn on the laptop I have nothing to press to open the BIOS,right switches to logging.Better to explain appears Black Screen.

OS has nothing to do with what Fn key gets into BIOS. Turn off computer. Hold F2 or maybe F1, turn on computer while holding key down.

Try Esc, F8, F10 or Del key if F2 or F1 doesn't work.

Reading though this thread again, I just want to point something out that may have confused things. The BIOS has a Fast Boot option that speeds up the POST, Power On Self test. Having this feature enabled may make it harder to access the BIOS on boot up but should not prevent it. Windows 8 has a Fast Startup option which is a totally different thing and this option can make it difficult to access the BIOS on boot. It's a hybrid sleep mode. When enabled the PC doesn't shut down to a cold start state. On my ASUS laptop I could not access the BIOS on boot up with it enabled. Fast Startup - Turn On or Off in Windows 8, once I turned it off I had access. Assuming you can boot to windows. If you can't removing all power and draining any residual by pressing the power button will usually force a cold start and kill any sleep or hibernate mode the PC was in. What happens if you press ESC or the Delete key? How were you planning on reinstalling Windows 7? Did you make recovery disks before installing 8.1?

My back is starting to bother me so I'll have to take a break from things for a while. I may not answer any replies until tomorrow. If anybody else wants to pick up the ball and run with it feel free. Don't wait on me.

OK, that makes sense now. Sympathy on the back, mine acts up at least once a year. Just got over a bout where I could hardly walk.
