That place is very confusing . . . I thought I was being very careful, but I wound up downloading and installing "Browser Guard" instead of Clonezilla! Had to uninstall the crapware!
You must be infected with malware or something. When I click downloads, this is all I see, with no possibility of what you call "crapware":

I think the trick is to stay away from the big GREEN "Start download", icons on the right and left sides of the page , same can be said for many webpages we go to looking for legit programs .its how they all make extra money

I even just checked with my Opera torrified browser without any filtering and still I don't see any green download icons anywhere.

    Screenshot?

As far as I see it, it's rather foolproof.

Yes macrium Reflect is that good the paid for version is more flexible as to what you can do. No Crap ware on there download page what so ever and great tech support they speak English natively

I saw that page, but didn't bother with it, since I wasn't interested in alternate sites. Also, when I looked at it, I thought it was for Linux (the far end of the table).

Oh, ok. I can't really understand how there's any complaint when you clicked the wrong link (for downloading, that's on this address Clonezilla live not Download page) and also you do not protect your systems from stuff like that on all pages across the web.

In my screenshot above, it's rather simple to see what should be downloaded if Clonezilla is wanted.

Well, yeah . . . especially when there's no obvious link to Clonezilla!

I must be doing something right, since I'm not troubled with malware or viruses (virii) on any of my computers. So, how would I protect myself further from misleading crapware?
