    Nice gadgets

Found a nice set of gadgets recently from this guy.

Seem to be kept up with updates. Quite a few options.

Was using the similar ones from addgadget before.

They look great but do not know whether I am missing the obvious, how the heck do you download any of them?

Edit I worked it out lol

You click on the individual gadgets name - it's a live link, or where it says read more, and there's a download button all the way at the bottom.

Thanks Airbot. The System Monitor II works great in Windows 8. I had no luck at all with AIDA Extreme or CPU-Z

I know of another member (SmartEyeball) that had problems with both CPU-Z/Aida also. I personally don't have any problem with CPU-Z 1.60 in Win 8 though.

I just downloaded and tried CPU-Z 1.60 and my system froze when I tried running it. I have uninstalled it for now.

Here is a different link to them, easier to figure out where the links are here.

Of the gadgets in this link has a single click solution to shut down, log off or restart and it works with Windows 8.

    Those aren't the same gadgets.

Those are from addgadget like I mentioned in my first post, but aren't the ones I linked to.

    Different site, different dev.

Either way it's more good gadgets right, seems to fit the thread anyway. The CPU gadget uses core temp to monitor CPU temps and works pretty well. I've been using both types for years.

At one time the ones you posted created a memory leak when running with IE9 but I believe that problem is fixed in the newer versions.

The one's I posted don't take up so quite so much space on the desktop and work just as well.
