You click on the individual gadgets name - it's a live link, or where it says read more, and there's a download button all the way at the bottom.

Thanks Airbot. The System Monitor II works great in Windows 8. I had no luck at all with AIDA Extreme or CPU-Z

I know of another member (SmartEyeball) that had problems with both CPU-Z/Aida also. I personally don't have any problem with CPU-Z 1.60 in Win 8 though.

I just downloaded and tried CPU-Z 1.60 and my system froze when I tried running it. I have uninstalled it for now.

Either way it's more good gadgets right, seems to fit the thread anyway. The CPU gadget uses core temp to monitor CPU temps and works pretty well. I've been using both types for years.

At one time the ones you posted created a memory leak when running with IE9 but I believe that problem is fixed in the newer versions.

The one's I posted don't take up so quite so much space on the desktop and work just as well.

I am using 8GadgetPack with no problems in both win 8 and 8.1. . .being a Mac user I have always liked the idea of gadgets or widgets. They just add the right touch to an OS. . .:D

Interesting - it says it doesn't work in 8.1.

Perhaps you did an upgrade to 8.1?
